My First Job

For teenagers, having a job is a way of making money, just a way of having extra cash for movies or clothes. It makes one feel independent. Personally, it made me feel sort of an adult. It taught me how to be responsible and to handle my finances. I had learnt to interact with my co-workers and work with different types of people. In a way, it was almost like I had learned real life skills.it will always be a big part of me maturing and becoming a young adult.

Singapore Flyer is the place where I have been working for a year plus, coming to two years. I enjoy working with my awesome and funny colleagues who will always make my day at work an enjoyable one eventhough, I will have to face some ups and downs at work.

Momzieee

Momzie is the calling name I gave for my mom. I personally think that calling my mom, momzie is rather cute. She’s my best chef, my best inspiration and also my best advisor. She is that one person that has always stood by my side, always encouraging me to reach my fullest potential and never gives up on me. My mom brought me and my two elder brothers up solely.  She has always provided me and my brothers the best education opportunities that there could and always pushed and strived for me to get all that I should. I admire my mom because as an individual, she is a strong woman who has the courage to fight against all the obstacles that have entered into our lives. Throughout my 19 years on this earth, I've seen my mom transform herself into whoever our family needed her to be. It has been in recent years that I discovered a new quality of my mom- a new friend. And yes, she’s the best at it. I love you momzieee! ~

Graffiti Art

Why can’t Graffiti art be legal? It is a form of vandalism? Why are there many restrictions towards it? Such questions still ponders around in my mind. I think that graffiti art gives us a freedom of space for art. It spices a wall up and makes a blank wall come alive. I also think that it expresses ones talent and feelings. It can instil peace into a single soul and unite a group of people. Graffiti can go beyond what we call vandalism. It can work as an attention grabber. Graffiti triggers the mind, the soul and the heart. Bringing its viewer to a place in time, or even to a memory they had forgotten about. It is one of the most amazing and expressive forms of art. It should be understood that graffiti is not always an act of aggression or rebellion but an art that we should appreciate.
